Washing instructions for upholstery

In most of our upholstered furniture we use olefin fabric, a fabric with many advantages. For example, it holds its colour well and doesn't fade as quickly in the sun as other fabrics. It is very durable and lightweight at the same time. It also lets very little water through - and dries quickly. This makes it ideal for outdoor furniture.
 

All textiles exposed to sunlight are affected. Therefore, be careful to either carry or protect cushions/pillows when the sun is at its brightest.
 

Light stains can be washed off with a mixture of mild detergent (e.g. soap) and water and rinsed thoroughly with clean water. Place the cushions on their side and allow to air dry completely. More severe stains (e.g. mould) may need a product dedicated to cleaning outdoor furniture. Some sunscreen products can stain and mark fabrics and cushions. Do not allow such products to come into contact with any seating surfaces to avoid stains.
 

We do not recommend machine washing our upholstery, but if you do, turn the upholstery inside out and close the zip before washing. Please use a laundry bag and wash at a maximum of 30 degrees. Feel free to use Brafab's textile impregnation afterwards to get a protective surface.
 

NOTE! Our furniture with TPU liner (water repellent) should not be washed as above. If cleaning is necessary, use an approved stain remover or a damp cloth. It is not possible to soak or machine wash fabrics with TPU treatment
